Location Description Carreço

With a very rocky area between the dunes and the sand, Praia do Carreço has good environmental quality and great support infrastructures. This beach is part of an area of great landscape beauty, which can be admired in its entirety from the Montedor hill, where is the northernmost lighthouse of the Portuguese territory. In the immediate vicinity, be sure to visit the three recently restored Montedor Windmills.
