Sandhammaren Beach
The dream beach has rightly been voted the best beach in Sweden several times. Especially in the summer months of July and August, the conditions are perfect for swimming in the Baltic Sea, with daily highs reaching up to 25°C. The dune-like beach promises peace and relaxation. Stroll through the mostly untouched nature in the south of Sweden and enjoy the fresh sea breeze during the transitional seasons. In past centuries, the coast off Sandhammaren was a dangerous place for sailors, as evidenced by numerous sunken ships. The sea rescue station from the year 1891 is a reminder of those times.

There is no infrastructure here, but there is plenty of peace and space to relax. Above the beach, there is a parking lot with a kiosk and toilet. The path to the beach is nice and wide and can be accessed with strollers and wheelchairs. A walk to the lighthouse on the rocky coast is worthwhile.

There are well-protected bays where swimming is easily possible. Langhammars is framed by majestic chalk cliffs. The backdrop of rock formations in the water is unique and offers the perfect setting for a day by the sea. In addition to swimming, activities such as surfing and kayaking are possible.
