Hiking on Monte del Agua
The historic village of Erjos, which was once a transportation hub, is the starting point of the hike. It traverses the breathtaking laurel forest Monte del Agua y Pasos. Perhaps the rare pigeon species laurel pigeon and Bolle's laurel pigeon will accompany your path. You walk through picturesque places built in the typical Canarian style. The tour overcomes an elevation of 343 meters. Above Las Moradas, you reach a striking viewpoint: from here, the view of the Los Cochinos gorge is breathtaking. Surrounded by dense forests, terraced cultivation fields can be seen. The hike ends in Las Portelas in the valley of El Palmar.

Tour through the Sendero de los Sentidos Nature Reserve
On your excursion, you have the choice between different paths that are relatively short and belong to the sensory hiking trail. The longest measures 1,300 m, leads over 100 meters in elevation, and through the wet forest. The highlight is the Llano de los Loros viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a picturesque view. The other routes are shorter, at 340 and 544 m in length, so you can explore all three hiking trails together. Plan about two or three hours to admire the flora and fauna. All routes are mostly paved and recommended year-round thanks to the warm temperatures.

Hike around the Roques de Garcia
The snow-covered peak of Spain's highest mountain is the landmark of the Canary Islands and, thanks to the year-round spring, a popular excursion destination at any time. One of the routes in the Sendero Roques de García is 3.3 km and very challenging, so experienced hikers will be on the move for between two and three hours. The hiking trail covers almost 200 meters in altitude but is mostly well-paved. You have the Teide almost constantly in view and walk through a unique terrain of volcanic rock, boulders, and shrubs. At the highest point, you are at 2,182 m, so warm clothes are recommended even on sunny days.

Afur - Tamadite Beach
The Montes de Anaga invite you to hikes and excursions in nature all year round. Tenerife is famous for its perpetual spring and perfect conditions for outdoor sports activities, and the mountains are well signposted. A popular route leads from Afur to Playa de Tamadite. You are on the road for about one and a half hours, covering about 5 km and 200 meters in altitude. It is best to start the hike in the morning so that you can enjoy the midday sun at the bathing beach. Playa de Tamadite invites you to relax, but also to swim in the Atlantic before you start your return journey.

The Pyramids of Güímar: Round from Arafo
For the moderately difficult hike lasting about three hours, you should have a good basic level of fitness. The starting point is the parking lot of Finca Ecología Las Vigas. From here, the path leads through Chacona via Costilla to the pyramids. The return path to the parking lot goes via Molina de la Menora. The paths for the approximately 400-meter ascent and descent to the pyramids are completely paved and easy to walk. At the pyramids, a visit to the ethnographic park Parque Etnográfico Pirámides de Güímar, established by Thor Heyerdahl, is worthwhile, offering much interesting information about the mysterious structures.
