Benidorm - Climate

Benidorm has a very unique climate. In the city on the Mediterranean, the climate is fundamentally Mediterranean, but the mountains around Benidorm block a large part of the cooler winds, leading to milder temperatures compared to the rest of the Costa Blanca. Thus, average temperatures in summer are around 26°C, and in winter the thermometer rarely falls below 10°C. Even 20°C is possible on some winter days. The classic bathing season is from May or June to October. The water temperature from June to mid or late October is over 20°C.
