The circular route leads from the church in the small community of Priepert to the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow and then back via the unusual village of Strasen with its small peculiarities. While the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow offers the magnificent sea and many other opportunities, the small exotic village of Strasen has interesting animals like buffalo, alpacas, or reindeer to offer. The old pilgrimage route runs between meadows and small woods and also offers the opportunity to linger by the sea in Wustrow.

Circular Path Zierker Lake
The circular route begins at the beautifully restored city harbor of Neustrelitz and then leads south on a signposted path around the magnificent Zierker See. Passing by an idyllic boathouse and a former laundry house, it runs over the White Bridge to the Slavic village, which promises an interesting sight. At the Schlosskoppel, there are magnificent mixed forests as well as many swamp areas with a great diversity of species. Finally, the so-called Franzosensteig leads to a great viewpoint on the lakeshore. From here, it continues directly along the shore of the lake back to the city harbor, which attracts with its impressive warehouses and a large gastronomic offer.

Fridolin's Journey
Discover the surroundings of the Feldberger Seenlandschaft community on Fallada's Fridolin hike. It is dedicated to the writer Hans Fallada, who lived there for several years. Fridolin, the cheeky badger from Fallada's stories, experienced many adventures in the lake district, which you can trace on the hiking trail with the whole family. Fallada's Fridolin hike starts at Fallada's former residence and leads along lakeside paths to the Schmaler Luzin. As a highlight, you cross the lake once with a hand-operated cable ferry before the 10.5-kilometer-long path takes you back to the starting point on the other shore.

Hiking Tour Holy Halls
Wandering through the sacred halls is a special pleasure. Start your hike at the forest parking lot in Lüttenhagen. First, you can make a detour to the Arboretum Paradiesgarten. The route leads over an old cobblestone road past moors, mixed forests, and swamp landscapes until you reach a forest crossroads. A hiking trail then takes you into the heart of the old beech forest. In the meantime, many young beeches have grown back, changing the hall-like character of the forest. At the end of the hiking trail, you reach a forest road that leads back to Lüttenhagen. The forest museum "Lütt Holthus" is worth a visit.

Müritz Circular Hiking Trail

Bird enthusiasts, in particular, will get their money's worth here, as cranes, herons, and pochards settle in the Müritz to breed. The hiking trail through the Müritz National Park begins in Waren. With the first stage ending in Schwarzenhof, you cover 18.5 km. The ninth and final stage starts in Federow and takes you over the Feisnecksee with the Burgwallinsel in its center back to Waren.
