Magouëro Beach

For a classic beach holiday with temperatures over 25°C and many hours of sunshine per day, the months of June to September are recommended. You can reach Plage du Magouëro either on foot or by car, as there is a spacious parking lot just about 100 meters from the coast. The pristine dream beach offers many quiet spots, and the turquoise sea not only promises refreshment but also invites you to dive and snorkel. If you want to explore the surrounding area of the beach, city tours of Lorient and Carnac as well as excursions to the southern Quiberon Peninsula are recommended.

Kervillen Beach, La Trinité Sur Mer

Since Plage de Kervillen faces south, you can enjoy the sun and swim almost all day. Thanks to the free parking, you can travel stress-free by car. During the peak season in July and August, there is also a free shuttle bus from the center. At Plage de Kervillen, you can expect top-notch service: showers and toilets are available on-site, and a beach-friendly wheelchair is available for people with limited mobility. The Olympic Club Mickey offers many activities for the youngest guests in the summer. A restaurant takes care of culinary needs.

The Great Beach, Quiberon

The large beach is located in the center of Quiberon in the far south and offers the finest sand and ideal swimming conditions. It is accessible to people with limited mobility thanks to available Hippocape wheelchairs. During the high season, lifeguards ensure the safety of swimmers. Children can enjoy the Albatros Club with many activities. The Grand Plage has only small waves and the water slopes gently, making the beach very popular with those who want to learn windsurfing. Along the beautiful beach promenade, you will find nice restaurants, bars, and small shops. Here you can shop and dine to your heart's content with a sea view.

Great Beach of Port-Louis

Fine, white sand of the Grande Plage de Port-Louis and a deep blue sea provide a picture-perfect view when you first enter the Grande Plage de Port-Louis. Sunbathe while looking at the busy harbor entrance of Lorient or cool off by swimming during the warm summer months. Active vacationers can take long hikes during the transitional seasons and mild winter or try various water sports at the Grande Plage de Port-Louis. Also, visit the nearby center of Lorient, which is rich in attractions, such as the Chapel St.-Christophe, as well as numerous restaurants and entertainment options.

Great beach of Carnac

The Grand Plage de Carnac is one of five beaches in the French town that invites you to carefree hours by the sea. It stretches for 2 km south of the center. In the sheltered bay, there are many water sports opportunities such as stand-up paddling and kayaking. In summer, the Grande Plage de Carnac is supervised. During the peak season, there is a fun children's program at the Neptune beach club. There are toilets and showers on site. You will find numerous bars and restaurants in the nearby town center to recharge your energy. If you don't come to the beach on foot, there are parking spaces.

Saint Pierre Beach, Locmariaquer

The Plage de Saint Pierre is located between Er Hourél and Erlong in Locmariaquer. The municipality is known for its megalithic monuments. The open-air museum "Site des mégalithes de Locmariaquer" includes a collection of menhirs and dolmens. The climate also contributes to the popularity of the seaside resort on the Atlantic coast. In southern Brittany, the climate is mild and pleasant all year round. As early as the beginning of the 20th century, this ensured a steady stream of tourists, which has steadily increased since the 1960s. Locmariaquer and the Plage de Saint Pierre are no exception, as the beach is one of the most beautiful in the region.

Conguel Beach, Quiberon

Since the beach is located a bit away from the city center, it is quiet here. You will find a parking lot at the beginning of the peninsula. There are also facilities for parking bicycles and toilets. Tables invite you to have a picnic by the sea. Opposite the beach, you can see the Teignouse lighthouse. At Plage du Conguel, time seems to have stood still: here you can still find remnants of ovens where seaweed used to be burned. It is worth taking a walk along the 1-kilometer-long headland to the Pointe du Conguel. Getting up early is worth it: the sunrise here is breathtaking.

Kerguelen Beach

The white sandy beach of Kerguelen and the deep blue Bay of Biscay not only offer a picture-perfect view but also invite you to sunbathe, swim, and relax. During the holiday season in July and August, you can look forward to many hours of sunshine and high temperatures of up to 30°C. If you want to be active, the Plage de Kerguelen offers a wide range of activities. Sailing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing are particularly popular and possible not only in summer but also during the transitional seasons. Those who prefer to stay on land can go for walks and bike rides.
