For many, Plage Benoît is the most beautiful coastal stretch on the Atlantic. The magnificent bay extends over 8 km. It stretches from Le Pouliguen to Plage de La Baule. Plenty of space for every holiday need: you can relax on the beautiful sandy beach, jog, or play with the children in the gentle surf. At Plage Benoît, you will find first-class infrastructure. The coastal section is regularly cleaned and the beach accesses are cleared of sand. You can lock your valuables in beach huts, rent lockers, and, if needed, borrow loungers and umbrellas. There are toilets and also restaurants that complete the offer.

La Baule Beach

La Baule, located on the Atlantic coast, is one of the most famous seaside resorts in France. Thanks to its sheltered location, the bay of La Baule is almost always calm. High waves rarely roll onto the beach, making it very popular among families with children. The water is turquoise and offers a breathtaking contrast to the white sand. At both ends of the Plage de La Baule are the ports of Pornichet and Le Pouliguen with their small, quiet coves. Here you can stroll along idyllic coastal paths and through dense pine forests.

Nau Beach

You will find Plage de Nau in Le Pouliguen between the harbor mole and the town hall. During the summer months, the beach is supervised. Next to the first aid station are the sanitary facilities with toilets and showers. It is only about 100 meters to the town center, and there are parking facilities for bicycles on site. During the summer season, you can rent beach tents and cabins at Plage de Nau. In the beach clubs, umbrellas and loungers are available. Sporty guests can meet like-minded people at the beach volleyball court. The recommended 9.4 km long circular hiking trail La Côte sauvage with many beautiful viewpoints passes by the beach.

Birochère Beach

The Plage de la Birochère is about 50 meters long and is located in the western French town of Pornic in the Pays de la Loire region on the magnificent Atlantic coast. It is situated in a lovely bay and features a beautiful mix of sand, rocks, and relatively calm sea. The idyllic small beach is supervised and also offers good infrastructure such as toilets, showers, and even a small restaurant. There is a parking lot nearby, and the Plage de la Birochère can also be wonderfully reached by a delightful little hike on a famous customs officer's path.

Gohaud Beach

The Plage du Gohaud beach stretches over a length of 4.5 kilometers. It consists of beautiful sand, inviting you to build castles, fly kites, and splash around. You reach the magnificent coastal section via a dune. In the evenings and early mornings, anglers can be found fishing on the mudflats. During the peak season, Plage du Gohaud is supervised. A special wheelchair for the beach is available for people with mobility impairments. A wooden platform facilitates access to the beach. There are trash bins and sanitary facilities open year-round. The parking lot, located about 400 meters from the beach, is free of charge.

Port Kennet Beach

When the sun shines from the sky and the thermometer reaches peak values well above 25 degrees, the conditions for a beach holiday in the summer months are perfect. The open sea invites you to swim and dive, and along the Plage de Port Kennet, you can enjoy a well-deserved break. Both spring and autumn are known for their winds, which turn the coastal region into a true paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Especially wind and kite surfing, but also sailing, are very popular then. For excursions, day trips along the Loire inland to Nantes are recommended.

Valentin Beach

The magnificent, wide Plage Valentin stretches over a length of 740 meters. It is the longest sandy beach of Baz-sur-Mer. Nearby, you will find a parking lot, and there are also bicycle parking spaces available. In July and August, the beach is supervised. Sanitary facilities are available on site. Plage Valentin is ideal for relaxing and playing with children in the fine sand. Additionally, there are two water sports schools on the beach: here you can learn to sail and surf.
