It is a rock formation with a stone arch, which, with its span of around 26 meters, is one of the largest sandstone arches in all of Europe. The Prebischtor is located near the village of Hřensko, which is a popular starting point for hiking tours to the sandstone formation. You overcome about 300 meters of elevation on the gently ascending path, which overall corresponds to an easy level of difficulty. The total length of the round trip on predominantly paved hiking trails is about 6 kilometers.

Stone towers up to 100 m high create the distinctive landscape. From the Adršpach Rock Town, the journey continues to the Wolf Gorge. You reach the Teplice Rocks via a marked path. It is designed as a nature trail equipped with interesting information boards. They provide information about the history of the rocks. The Watchtower, the Cathedral, and Martin's Walls are among the prominent natural monuments.
Hike from Pec pod Sněžkou to Sněžka
There is hardly a better place to start a hike to the 1,603-meter-high Schneekoppe than Pec pod Snezkou at the foot of the mountain. The hike takes you to the home of the famous legendary figure Rübezahl. The ascent takes place through the wild and romantic Upa Valley. Once at the summit, let the impressions of the unique mountain panorama take effect on you. The picturesque Laurentius Chapel is worth a visit. Many hiking trails cross the Prokop Valley, which sporty visitors use for walking and running. They like to start at the information board Prokopské and Dalejské údolí in the south of the city. The hike leads over gently undulating terrain for 3.7 km. It runs through the northern foothills of the Bohemian Karst landscape. Deeply incised gorges have been carved into the rock by the region's streams. A path designed as a nature trail runs along the steep cliffs. You pass open quarries and babbling brooks. A picturesque lake, flanked by rugged cliffs, is a popular spot for a rest.
Hike through the Korkorschina Valley
Right at the start of the day tour, a highlight awaits you with the Pokličky rock: The rock formation is considered a landmark of the Daubaer Switzerland. Through shady valleys, the tour continues to the impressive Kokorin Castle. With its battlemented walls, it is visible from afar. From the cylindrical tower, the view of the Kokorin nature reserve is unique.
From Spindlermühle to Pančavský Waterfall
The Pančava Waterfall (Pantschefall) is not far from Špindlerův Mlýn, one of the most famous resorts in the Czech Giant Mountains. It cascades down the steep rock walls of the Labský důl valley and offers a beautiful view from above of the falling waters as well as the rocky and lushly forested mountain landscape. Set off from Špindlerův Mlýn, known in German as Spindlermühle, for a hiking tour to the rocky viewing platform of the waterfall. From small and large sandstone towers to gorges and towering stone platforms with panoramic views, there is so much to discover on a dense network of hiking trails through the lush, forested rock landscape. For example, you can learn a lot on the Prachovské skály educational trail. It provides a wealth of information at eleven stations about the flora, fauna, and history of this special upland landscape. The circular route is only about 3.5 kilometers long, but with its path featuring some steep stone steps and narrow rock crevices, it is quite a little adventure.
From Harrachov to the Mumlava Waterfall
The hiking trail to the Mumlava Waterfall in northern Czechia delights with a beautiful natural backdrop. You start at the bus station in the popular hiking and skiing resort of Harrachov. From there, you walk close to the stream through an enchanting mixed forest. The highlight is the approximately 10-meter-high piled rocks over which thundering masses of water pour. This hiking tour is a wonderful nature experience all year round. In summer, the deep, crystal-clear water basins offer a refreshing swimming opportunity. The autumn forest landscape presents itself in strong yellow and red tones. On cold winter days, glittering icicles form on the cascades. Due to its short length, the excursion to the Mumlava Waterfall is excellent for children.
