Villas Costa Brava to rent

Holiday Homes on the Costa Brava

Situated to the north east of Spain, the Costa Brava is one of Spain’s treasures with 7 nature parks, 4 botanical gardens and miles of wonderful coastal paths. Stretching from Blanes up to the French border, the Costa Brava is a beautiful region with an attractive coastline, offering many golden beaches and hidden coves. The Costa Brava was given its title by Ferran Agullo, a Spanish journalist, with the name meaning “rugged coast”. To the north, the countryside is more mountainous, adorned in part by the Pyrenees mountain range, with its high peaks, cliffs, volcanoes and amazing views. This area near the French border is marked by rough terrain and cliffs and small coastal bays. The first town from the border is Portbou, continuing down the coast to Colera and the popular resort of Llanca. More to the south you have the Gulf de Roses, featuring towns like Roses, Empuriabrava and L’Escala. There are many popular seaside resorts throughout the Costa Brava with many offering a taste of the true Spain with pretty fishing villages, high mountain towns, monasteries and churches. The larger resorts of Tossa de Mar and Lloret de Mar continue prove very popular with tourists with many being the perfect destination for lovers of sun, sea and sporting activities. Not forgetting plenty of opportunities for skiing, hiking, mountain biking and golf throughout this attractive region of Spain.

Luxury Villas Costa Brava

The climate on the Costa Brava is typically Mediterranean with mild temperatures and seasons characterized by hot, dry summers and moderately cold winters. Take a summer break and unwind in the sunshine, relax down on the beach or by your own swimming pool? Renting your own self-catering villa in Spain is the best way to spend quality time with friends and family. Take your time exploring the beautiful coastal towns and villages and venture inland to sample the stunning countryside or find peach and quiet, relaxing by the pool or on the beach. Many of the villas available with Interhome on the Costa Brava have their own pool or are situated close to the beach. The beaches in this popular region are a delight, many with Blue Flag certification meaning no pollution and plenty of onsite services. Explore the small, hidden bays nestling between the cliffs and coastal paths and escape from it all.
