Balatonfured, the largest town on the northern banks of Lake Balaton, is the ideal spot to enjoy a family holiday with children or an active holiday with friends. Well-known, busy, family-friendly holiday resort directly by the Lake Balaton, 20 km south-west from Veszprem, 15 km west from Balatonalmadi, 120 km south-west from Budapest. Tennis, squash, golf course 18 hole in Balatonudvari 15 km. Minigolf. Fishing. Beach volleybally court. Hiking paths, mountain hikes. Bicycle paths, mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground. The "Annagora Aquapark" offers fun for all the family: there are several pools, waterslides, cafes, a cocktail bar and in winter, a wellness area with sauna and steam bath.
