Location Description Thisted

Small, busy town with 13'500 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region, directly by the sea, 95 km south-west from Ålborg, 180 km south-west from Skagen. In the resort: shopping centre, supermarket, shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, sauna. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Thisted Brewery, Isbjerg, Nationalpark Thy 15 km.

Summer

Beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 1 km from the resort. Sandy beach, gently sloping, suitable for children, 7 km from the resort. Sea water outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Golf course 18 hole 16 km. Minigolf. Hiking paths. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire. In north-western Jutland, all the way from Skagen in the north to Agger in the south you can experience some of the finest, whitest and broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. Small, picturesque holiday towns are situated all the way along the coast. Some places it is still possible to watch the fishermen as they drag their boats up on the beach, as it has been done for hundreds of years. At Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, you can place each of your feet in different oceans, The Skagerak and the Kattegat. Anywhere along the coast you can enjoy some of the most scenic sunsets over the North Sea.

Nice holiday house in a lovely area. Enough to do for a week close by. The house was nice for us 2 adults 1 child, but feels too small for 6 people (as advertised) as one bedroom is extremely small. Ok for kids though. The worst for us was the small amount of hot water, which was just enough for a short shower for one person.

Leider war das Dach undicht. Dadurch wurde unser Urlaub beeinträchtigt. Leider wie bei uns in Deutschland: Handwerker Mangelware! Ansonsten gut eingerichtetes Haus.

Sehr gute Lage. Der Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke und zum Strand ist auch ein schöner Spaziergang. Das Haus ist gemütlich. Hat kein Internet, war aber auch kein Problem, da man in DK überall ein sehr gutes Handynetz hat. Über den mobilen Hotspot kann man wunderbar arbeiten. Wir hatten einen schönen Familienurlaub in Klitmøller.

Das Haus hat ein gute Lage in Klitmoeller; absolut ruhig und nahe am wichtigen Sparmarkt. Leider ist das Haus, trotz kleiner Renovierungen (Küche, Bad) letztlich sehr alt, so dass im Haus ein modriger Geruch herrscht, den man zwar irgendwann nicht mehr riecht, aber leider bei Heimkehr überall mitnimmt (Rücksäcke, Bücher, frische Klamotten, einfach alles). Insofern ist das Haus für diesen Preis definitiv nicht zu empfehlen. Wolfgang S.
