Small resort. All shops, restaurants etc. in Brezno 7 km. In the resort: grocers, post office. Indoor pool at 37 km. Bánská Bystrica 36 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Bratislava (BTS), Wien International (VIE), Sliac (SLD). Situated at the southern foot of the Lower Tatra, area with well preserved local architecture - towns include "Plomka", "Helpa", "Pohorela". Favorably located with touristic paths and ski lifts in the southern part of the Lower Tatra.
