236 m. >>Greve is one the the most important town of the "Chianti Classico" area and every September hosts the most important Wine Show of the region. It has a lovely square with portico where occasionally there hold an antiques market. Well-known, historical resort with 2'700 inhabitants, in the centre of the region, 30 km south from Firenze, 40 km north from Siena. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: motorway A1 Firenze - Roma, exit number "Firenze Certosa" 25 km from Greve in Chianti. Then road Firenze - Siena - (San Casciano). Access by train Firenze - Roma. Railway station "Figline Valdarno" 20 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Firenze (FLR) 40 km.
