Well-known, historical resort with 2'800 inhabitants, in the centre of the region, on top of a hill with beautiful view, 25 km north from Siena, 55 km south from Firenze. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: motorway A1 Firenze - Roma, exit number "Firenze Certosa" 50 km from Castellina in Chianti. Then road Firenze - Siena - (San Donato). Access by train Firenze - Empoli - Siena. Railway station "Castellina Scalo" 10 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Firenze (FLR) 65 km.
