Castro, the Pearl of Salento, with its gentle atmosphere, its enchanting sea, beautiful countryside with some of the most attractive tourist spots in Salento, on the Adriatic coast. 15 km from Otranto, 45 from Lecce, 50 from Gallipoli and 25 from Leuca. In a superb arching coastline which runs from Otranto to S. Maria di Leuca. There are approx. 2500 residents but in holiday season the city is full of tourists. When you explore Castra, you enter a quiet zone allowing you to forget the stress and chaos of the city. Here the blue sea and the greenery meet giving it a varied atmosphere.
