Porlezza is the most important village of the Valsolda valley which has a numerous little and picturesque villages lying by the lake or climbing up the mountains on the south part of lake Lugano. The borderline with Switzerland is 9 km away. The Valsolda valley is rich in history and arts and travellers will particulary enjoy the unspoilt landscape with the quiet lake ( boat tours, windsurfing, sailing, waterski) and the villages with the medioeval charm. Numerous way of entertaiment such as mountain trekking and excursions with mountain bike. Lake Como 13 km. Como town 50 km. Lugano 15 km.
