Climate
Saubrigues, small Landes village ideally situated close to the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees. Near the Marais d'Orx. Nature reserve with a geological area which has been created over approx. 3 million years. Until the Middle Ages, Les Landes was only a large humid marshland. You can visit the nature reserve on foot, walking over the dykes. Only the southern part, le Marais Barrage, is open to the public whereas the rest of the area is closed off to ensure maximum protection for the rich fauna. Small, cosy, quiet village, in the countryside, convenient. All shops, restaurants etc. in St Vincent Tyrosse 6 km. In the resort: grocers, post office. Besides: doctor. Bayonne 17 km. Dax 25 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Biarritz (BIQ) 25 km.
