Climate
Moliets is situated by the sea, in the heart of wonderful countryside with dunes, in the middle of a pine forest, typical of the "Les Landes" region busy village and bathing resort with 800 inhabitants, 35 km from Dax, 55 km from Bayonne, 60 km from Biarritz. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Disco, folklore evenings, concerts, evening entertainment, cinema, attractions. Access: railway station "Dax" 35 km. Bus service. Vieux Boucau 8 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Bordeaux (BOD) 175 km, Biarritz (BIQ) 70 km. Sights: Bullfighting "courses landaises", Basque basket game "Chistera" or kite-flying festival "Festival des cerfs-volants" on 2nd December. Twice weekly market as well as a night market in July and August. Gastronomy: Foies gras, jams and ham.
