The region Greater London

London is the largest city in Europe with approximately 9 million inhabitants. The centre is lively and exciting. The areas around the centre, known collectively as the Greater London Borough, have easy access back to the centre thanks to good rail, bus and underground networks. A visit to London is recommended at any time of year as there is always lots to see and do both in the centre and surroundings. There are loads of famous monuments and historical buildings, museums, theatres, concerts, huge parks, boat trips on the Thames and of course thousands of shops. Don’t miss a trip on the London Eye, the new huge wheel where you can enjoy a view over the whole of London. Excursions are available to many places such as Oxford, Cambridge, Hampton Court and Bath.
